Pi Day (March 14) is Mrs. Abernethy's favorite day of the year and the Fantastic Ferrets celebrated in style! With personal pies for breakfast, the Fantastic Ferrets were ready for the major festivities and performances beginning with the official pie cutting ceremony at 1:59. (3.14159) Students wrote their own lyrics and produced their own pi songs to such songs as Miley Cyrus's, "Wrecking Ball" and Ylvis, "What Does the Fox Say?" Below are pictures and student created projects of the day.
